Public Work's Department

The City of Tekoa Public Work's Department is responsible for maintaining all city streets, keeping Tekoa water safe and drinkable, and maintaining Tekoa's Waste Water Treatment Plant and collection system.  Also, this department maintains, restores, and updates all city buildings as needed. Performs repairs and maintenance at Willard Field Airport and Golden Rod Cemetery. 

Tekoa street maintenance includes but is not limited to:

• Snow removal and De-icing
• Grading and Pothole repair

Tekoa Water and Waste Water:

• Work to ensure all state regulations and compliance are met.
• Works to ensure all testing requirements are met.
